GED Testing | Humboldt Print
Description: The GED consists of five tests: Writing Skills, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts & Reading, and Mathematics.
Location: Humboldt
Session 1: September 8 & 9, 2010; 6:30 - 10:30 pm
Session 2: October 20 & 21, 2010; 6:30 - 10:30 pm
Credit: Yes
Fees: Tuition: $35
Study Guide (if required): $31 (GST included)
Additional Info: Registration: 1/2 hr prior to scheduled writing time

Adult Basic Education Level Four (Grade 12) | Humboldt Print
Name: Adult Basic Education Level Four (Grade 12)
Description: Do you need your high school diploma?
Do you need to upgrade for entry into post-secondary training programs?

Level Four includes Adult Secondary Completion and GED (General Educational Development). Under Adult 12 policy, an adult may attain a Grade 12 standing by completing seven credit classes successfully. You can also upgrade your marks for entry into post-secondary training.
Location: Humboldt Education Centre
Start Date: September 15, 2010
Prerequisites: 19 years of age and out of school for one year.
Pre-assessment is conducted to determine placement.
Fees: Students may be eligible for a Provincial Training Allowance (PTA).
Additional Info: To be eligible, you must be CAAT Tested.
You must pre-register by contacting the College office at 682-2623 or 1-800-667-2623.

GED Testing Dates: June 23 & 24, 2010; 9 am - 3:30 pm

Name: Adult Basic Education Level Three (Grade 10)
Description: Get your Grade 10 and a whole world of possibilities opens up!
Level Three courses (Communications, Social Sciences, Life/Work Studies, Mathematics, and Science) are designed for people who want to build on their knowledge and skills. Learners who complete Level Three successfully go on to further education, training, or employment opportunities.
